Phase 3 Launch

Everything is in phases.

Phase 1 - Move out of old apartment - completed August 25, 2010
Phase 2 - Stay at Douma's for 3 weeks - completed September 15, 2010
Phase 3 - Move into our apartment - commencing now
Phase 4 - Drive to Texas to get married - pending October 2, 2010
Phase 5 - Live happily ever after - 1pm October 9, 2010

It may seem pathetic that everything has a countdown and is so meticulously divided, but looking at 2 months stretched ahead of me.....let's just say I had to make little check points so that it didn't seem so ridiculously long and so I wouldn't go crazy. 2 weeks I can deal with, 2 months equaling 60 days - that gets a little harder. But as of today, I'm halfway through those stupid phases!

Everyone keeps telling me enjoy this time and to make all these memories. All I can say is....seriously? I'm dying here!! I'm sure I'll look back and realize just how very short of a wait it is, but for now I'm wishing it away. I'm going to take Anna's advice though, and start taking a lot of pictures, so that I can relive everything that I'm determined NOT to remember right now. Who wants to remember pain and agony? (Just ask Bryan.)

But, I want to thank the Douma's for being a wonderful family to let me stay with them for 3 weeks and never complaining. I have worked with Samantha, her mother, Leone, and her father, Hans, for the past 2 years. It's been interesting getting to know them better. And for the Ken Stiles' family who are going to let Bryan stay with them for the next 2 and a half weeks until we get to leave. You guys are lifesavers!!

Yeah I'm like Anna I wish I had a lot more pictures the few I have I was really sick in so Pain and Agony x2. But I still would like to remember more of what put us together and what we did together. Now first off take a picture of this new place I'm dying to see what it looks like.

Enjoy what now? No, this time really is torture. I hated it. It got slightly better about a week before the wedding because we were so busy with all the last minute preps. I think that is a good idea - just keep busy and the time will go by a little faster.

And I agree on taking lots of pictures (of course!).
