Rexburg???

This last weekend, I went up to see Emily in her hometown of Rexburg. I thought that I might as well, seems I have never seen it, and since she is the only roommate that I actually do anything with. I left on Wednesday after work on the Salt Lake Shuttle and let me tell you, I slept almost the entire way! Good thing, because college=no sleep. Emily picked me up around 11 that night and immediately we hit the town. (By that I mean Broulim's, which is like the only grocery store.) That night we only got some dinner and luckily went to bed at 1:30, early compared to the other ones. The next day, Emily's older brother can into town, so we spent the day with her family. They have the cutest kids, two little boys! (Although nothing compared to MY nephews and nieces!) Since her brother's family was there we got to rent a motel room seems their house isn't big enough for that many people-think small farm. That was cool so that we could do WHATEVER we wanted!!! We rented some movies at CleanFlicks, so we could watch all those rated 'R' movies that we always wanted to see, but without all the junk in them, but we did not watch them. It was thursday night, and that meant......Batman!!! Oh yes, we already had tickets to the 12 0'clock showing of "The Dark Knight." Of course we had to go sit in line early, and the seats weren't too bad. Three hours later, I was in a trance. It was one of the most amazing movies ever. Props to Heath Ledger for being so completely crazy, I can understand why they say it was possible that he couldn't sleep and accidentally overdosed on sleeping pills now. But the point is, it was spectacular!!! So now, at 4 in the morning we go to bed, only to get up at 8 to say bye to her brother. Once again, sleep deprived, we spent the day getting stuff for our upcoming Murder Mystery Dinner and Craigo's-the best pizza joint in Idaho. Also we watched the 6 movies we rented, each were amazing, although a little choppy sometimes, but what can you expect? On Saturday we went to the Musuem of Idaho which was doing a sequence on the Pharoah's of Egypt and then the zoo they have in Idaho Falls. I found out that the wing span of an eagle is taller then me...talk about depressing! But we also did some shopping and ended up staying up until 5 the next morning working on Emily's dress for said dinner. That Sunday we woke up early to get onto the Shuttle back to Provo at 9. I would like to say that I slept all the way back, but with the Shuttle filled to capacity, there was no lying down. And basically I haven't been able to have a good night's rest yet. You know how it is, you are in college with really amazing friends, and no matter how tired you are, you can't go to bed and miss out on the fun. Well, that is me in a nutshell!! Still, that was my little adventure to Rexburg. It was so much fun and they have beautiful weather right now!! I have come to the conclusion that I would like Idaho in the summer, but I would rather die then spend a winter there. Overall, it was amazing!! I would put up pictures, but we took all of them with Emily's parent's camera and then when we wanted them we couldn't find the cable and so for right now, they are up in Idaho still. Still, onto the next adventure I say!!!!
