Trouble in Vegas

That's the name of the game. Literally. Trouble in Vegas. This year was the 6th and final year. And their slogan....."The 6th and last year. Try not to die."

Let's start at the beginning:

Sitting on the beach in Hawaii after Kaimana Klassic 18, sipping rum drinks, staring at the surf…

Skip: “You know where a cool place to host a tournament would be?
pause. sips rum drink
Skip: “Vegas…there should be a tournament in Vegas”
Josh:“That’s the worst idea ever.”
Ben:“Or the best.”
Skip:“It’s true, someone would die, but can you imagine….”

Now 6 years, some arrests, but no deaths later, it is a huge success. Like 70 teams come to this thing. But apparently the company that sponsored it is splitting up and therefore can no longer run it. I'm sure that the Killjoys (and many others) are sad at the news.

It was a perfect weekend. It was in the 70's, sunny, with a slight wind. Well, let's say is was perfect for everyone else. I was still a little chilly and ended up wearing Bryan's pants and hoodie. Still, the guys did a great job. They won 3 out of 4 games. The one team they lost to was Wisconsin, who happen to win Nationals and have a few World players on their team. And they lost 14-15. Wisconsin ended up winning the tournament. So, basically, I'm proud of my boys.

The Killjoys.
Don't ask how they got their name, it's a long story.
